No Bake Twix Bars


Twix bars without all the added sugars, inflammatory oils and guilt! These Twix bars are made with dates to sweeten and nutritious fats like seeds, almond flour and coconut oil. These bars help support your hormones regardless of where you are in your cycle. Whenever you get that sugar craving, these Twix bars will be sure to satisfy it! Can be made vegan and dairy free by using dairy free chocolate chips for the topping!


Hormone Friendly Twix Bars

 

Makes: 10 bars

Serving: 1-2

Ingredients:

Crust:

1 ½ cups almond flour

5 dates

3 tbsps coconut oil

Filling:

¼ cup nut butter

½ cup seed cycle blend

12 dates

1-2 TBSPS almond milk unsweetened

Pinch of himalayan sea salt

Topping:

4 oz melted dark chocolate

Directions:

  1. Line 8x8 pan with parchment paper. Set aside.

  2. Blend crust ingredients in a food processor or vitamix.

  3. Line the pan with this as the base. Freeze.

  4. Put the filling ingredients in the food processor or vitamix. This should be a gooey, caramel consistency.

  5. Pour on top of the crust. Use a spatula to spread to the corners. Freeze for 30 min.

  6. Pour melted chocolate on the top.

  7. Place in freezer for another 30 minutes.

  8. Slice into Twix bars and store in freezer!
